First Time at a Legal Marijuana Dispensary
Everyone probably knows by now that Washington, and Colorado were the first states to Legalize Recreational Usage of Marijuana. This is an experience of My first time at a 21+ legal dispensary. My visit was quick and fast because I already knew what I wanted, but I wanted to test the guy behind the counter to see if they hired experience Budtenders, I went to Seattle Tonics Pot shop. I purchased their shatter deal 3 for $100, and a mid shelf flowers at 90$ for a half oz because I was on a quest for a bargain. For a legal dispensary the prices were decent for what I recieved. But if you are a MMJ Patient you will know that the quality is sub par to what you could get at a MMJ Dispensary. I smoked all 3 grams of shatter in less then a day and a half, it wasn't as potent as I was hoping for. and the buds I smoked the whole half oz in about 5 days (it usually takes me 7-8 day with MMJ Grade top shelf). I was pretty disappointed at what the Legal Dispensarys had to offer, the flower looked like some mexican dirt weed that you would get off your high school dealer, or some shady guy in the street. If I had the choice of a MMJ or Legal dispensary of course I will go to the MMJ because the Cost To Quality is way better (I know duhhh). But legal dispensarys are great for people that have always wonder what a MMJ Dispensary is like.
The best tip I can give a newbie going into a dispensary is do not buy the most expensive product, if you are an occasional smoker then anything stated around 10-15% should be fine, unless its a special occasion for me the percentages of thc on a bud is equivalent to drinking alcohol by the percentage. i.e low 10-15% strain is similar to a beer, and a strain with 20% thc can be similar to drinking hard liquor.
