I have been getting the Blue Screen of Death "Memory_Management" as the cause of it. The reason I found out could have been that the ram on my computer were not set at the right mhz speed. After updating to the latest bios that had the option to use XMP for ram management I have seem to have fixed the problem, or the BSOD has not occurred since I did this.
To check if you ram is running at the same speeds you can do a simple command to check in the command prompt.
Follow these steps:
1. Open Command Prompt or Power Shell
2. type "wmic memorychip get speed" with out the qoutes and hit enter, you should see the speed displayed if its all the same than you are good to go, if they are not than that could be the cause of your BSOD!
Also if you are getting a sort of "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT" BSOD. You can try to delete your pagefile.sys if you have not already done so(if applicaple).
To check if you have page filing turned on,
Follow these steps (for Windows 7):
1. Go to control panel
2. Click System And Security
3. Click System
4. Click Advanced System Settings
5. Click Advanced Tab
6. In the Performance box click the Settings button
7. When in Performance Options setting look for virtual memory box and click change.
8. Select all your Hard Drives and set each one to no page filing.
9. Restart your computer and if you need to set page filing up again do so.
Please let me know if this helps your memory management or pfn list corrupt BSOD problems.
Some great programs to use to figure out what is causing your computer to crash is a program called whocrashedit click on the link or visit http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed to download .
